TECH - fuel filter question with diagram
Take note of this small diagram:
Question:
Does the hole in the banjo bolt (top circle) have to line up perfectly with the line coming in (second circle)? I torque down the banjo bolt to 25 ft-lb as required and it seems the hole doesn't line up exactly with the incoming (outgoing?) fuel line.
Thanks!

Yeah the the banjo fitting is actually channeled in the center if you look. So it will not matter what orientation the holes are on the bolt.

Are you kidding! That hole needs to be lined up at exactly 42.35 degrees from the firewall....or else you will spray fuel all over the place!
Just kidding.....
it doesn't matter, just use new crush washers when installing the bolt.
