motor swap questions
i have a 92 civic hatch cx and i going to put a jdm d15b vtec engine, tranny, wiring harness, ecu and half shafts in it and i was wondering it i would need motor mounts or anything else with it. i was also wondering how hard of a swap this would be i am an avid car guy and i work in a shop i do all my own brake work and alternaters and such. thanks
That swap is so easy. Since the car is 92 I believe the vtec wires are already in your current harness from the computer to the strut so it should all plug in, only I thinkyour jdm harness has the plug on the wrong side. Just use your stock harness and run the wires for vtec from the solenoid the the strut and you should be good.
The axles are the same so I would just use which ever one's look the best.
