Can someone verify this information
I have a 92 DX hatchback that soon will have a D16Z6 engine from a 93 SI that I have. Since I will be using the engine harness that came with the D16Z6, will this harness plug to the harness on the 92 DX? and will the Vtec work or I still have to run some wires from the engine bay to the computer in order to have the vtec working. by the way I will be using the P28 computer from the SI as well.

The SI and VX both came wired for vtec from the factory. I believe those are the only hatch models for the 92-95 civic generation that came that way.

Untrue I had a 92 Cx that was wired for vtec from the ecu to the first engine plug.

This applys only to 1992.
