Swap questions ....help

Default Swap questions ....help

ok.... so i have a 92 civic dx 5 spd with a b15 and i am putting a b16z vtec in. i have to get an ECU for it (anyone know where i can get one for cheap?) and was wondering if i would have to get a new wireing harness and engine wires or will my existing wiring plug into my new ECU.... any help would be nice since i don't know much about cars (i'm doing this to lern) and anything other info that might be hlepful is welcome. hit me up here or at Rockthedetails@yahoo.com

i really dont think you have a b15 and your probably not ever gonna get a b16z swap since they dont even exist. there is a possibility that you do have a d15 and your getting a d16z swap, and yes you can use your factory harness, you'll just have to have someone run your wires for vtec.

The car should already be wired for vtec since its a 92. All you need is the d16z6 engine harness and it will plug direvtly to the chassis harness on the strut tower. No extra wireing needed. Then just plug up the ecu. Just look at a junkyard or on ebay for the ecu.
