VTEC Solenoid

I dont know if I spelled it correctly... but i've heard about a lot about this peice, but what is it?

isn't it the circular beige piece next to the valve cover? lower left to be exact, right next to the distributor? it engages vtec right?

Yep yellow blur your right
i think of it as like a heavy duty relay of some sort when all the VTEC varibles are in check it is sent 12v from the ecu and engages vtec

By kicking the Cams over onto the VTEC lobes....to continue

are there differneces betw, the soleniods, between the b16, b18c1, b18c5? size ect....

swaping in a b18c5 solenoid do anything?

Actually, it is called a (VTEC) spool valve.
