Default looking for a good engine builder in georgia. Pref atlanta, alpharetta, marietta, woodstock, kennesa

I'm looking to get some pistons and rods thrown in a spare D16z6 i have and want to find a reasonalbly priced good shop to do it. I think Mahdavi motorsports quoted $700 to put in pistons and rods not including extar parts and stuff which seems pricey.

Also how much boost could you average tuned d16z6 hold with pistons and rods and stock sleeves. I'm looking to safetly get about 15psi.

did you know that honda/acura school is in alpharetta. you should stop by there and try to talk to one of the instructors. i am going to be down there in march. you should ask for either Rob, Jay, or .....i forgot the other instructors name. they could probably refer you or maybe help you out.

I do most of my engine work myself or my personal engine builder and long life friend Drew.

If you'd like to save some money you can contact me for advice or if you need help assembling it.

I don't mind the least bit if I have free time. No charge. I'd rather do it for you for free than see you get your *** raped by these shops out here.

Does anybody know of any good machine shops in the same area. My spare D16z6 had a rod bearing spin on the #3 piston so the crank has a small amount of very light scratches on the #3 bearing part of the crank and the #3 cylinder wall has some light scratches that need to be honed out. Also i want to make sure the block deck and head are perfectly flat.
So if you know of any good shops around town let me know. Also if any body has some estimated prices on this stuff so i don't get ripped off that would be great to

Scott's machine shop did my NA ITR block. Perfect. Couldn't be happier. They're located in fayetteville. I've revved that engine past 10,000RPMs before. Stock ITR rods, rod bolts, ctr pistons. All OEM parts. Just wanted to show how good the work they do. I paid full price so I'm not selling ****. Except for OEM parts.
