i used to have a nuespeed shifter, switched to the complete skink2 unit w/ the weighted shift ****, in my personal opinion, theyre all the same. my buddy has some $30 tenzo unit on his car, been there for like 4 years now, never any problems. i got rid of the nuespeed unit cause i dont like nuespeed. i feel their products are geared towards german autos, anyways, the skunk unit look really high quality, and i got a pretty decent deal on it...so that was my only deciding factor. its a really cool piece when you see it...

i have a nuespeed and i havn't had any problems but 2 of my friends have DC shifters and i like theres better because its a hella short throw but i when they shift to the right it scrapes the exhaust below, just barely.

i personally like the dc the best even though it COULD hit your exhaust, maybe we installed wrong?

i have the B&M shifter in my gsr and a matrix shifter in the crx. the B&M shifter does not have sealed bearings like the matrix (just like dc and others im sure) it uses some o-rings and lithium grease. the B&M is also not angled like the other shifters, it is just a straight shifter so it moves the shifter more towards the front of the car. to remedy this you have to buy their bushing kit.

my buddy has a dc one and it did snap, so i dont recomend that one. i have a cheap one i got from ebay i dont know who its made, i dont have a problem with it, but when u mount it on the bottom it didnt fit good, so i had to make spacers.

In general any billet aluminum shifter will have a tendency to snap. That's why the Neuspeed and B&M shifters are better, since they are made of steel.

Of course and then there's the C's shifter... (coming soon to me muahahahha...)

Riight.... billet aluminum snapping? That sounds like bullshit right there, just for clarification... if you snapped a DC short shifter, then it really wasn't DC. Probably some really cheap azz knock off made of crap look alike that said DE or some **** LOL.
