Re: Short Shifter (AcuraEL)
just cut your stock one
No really, I kinda wanted to know myself. Ive been thinking about getting one, but dont know which one to go with. FROM WHAT I'VE HEARD, the brand and the price doesnt matter, and SOME SAY they're all the same . . . HOW TRUE is that .

Re: Short Shifter (makaveli284)
i have a razo it was like $60 i think the only thing i don't like about it is that it is hard to get in reverse sometimes but i don't really care about that. good shifting and position though, its not sooo short that it's hard to find 3rd either

Re: Short Shifter (coptzer)
My OBX shot shifter has out lasted anyother high price name brand shifter. I paid $40 bux, opposed to near $100 or more for a name brand.

Re: Short Shifter (D16Z6racing)
i broke a dc short shifter, dont get one of those... and it was too high.... in the del sol they tend to sit really high... looked like a boat oar.... then i got a cheap auto zone one a cut it with a razo shift ****..... then i ended getting a tittanium s2000 shift **** so i got a neuspeed shifter, and i took it to get chopped and threaded.... it sits super low, and the throw is super short..... and you should also get a polyurothane shifter kit.... becouse no matter what shifter you get... the bearings wear out in about 3 months.... the shifter kit makes it feel reall tight....

Re: Short Shifter (Del Soul)
I'm also running a Skunk2 shifter & ****. I think most shifters are the same, quality is a different story, I've heard a few stories on cheap shifters being broken I guess you get what you pay for.

Re: Short Shifter (Noe Kozz)
I would save the $$$ and buy a mod for your susp. or motor. Short shifter don't do anything for time slips!

Re: Short Shifter (mattcxb18)
I just got an FS series short shifter from TWM Performance. ( http://www.twmperformance.com ) It is the shortest shifter on the market. It has bearings in the end, and is of very high quality. I ditched my DC Sports one for it. I would recommend this shifter to anybody, and i can do a group buy if anyone is interested. The customer service is also awesome. Let me know if anyone wants to do a group buy. Later,
Shawn
