Short Shifter recommendations
Hi guys wassup. I'm going to be a buying a short shifter soon for my civic coupe and I was wondering which brand I should get. Most of my friends have DC and they said its good but i also heard from some of my other friends that they crack pretty easily. I might just get the DC shifter but I was wondering what other brands you guys would recommend. I would really appreciate it very much.

I've go two spares if you want one. One is a DC for the '94+ 'teg (only difference is the "s" bend in it), and I have a B&M(staight). DC is still in wrapper, and the B&M was used for a year-good shape. Both polished. E-mail me jgale00@hotmail.com I'll ship it to you.

Look at the Robot shifter. It looks kinda cool and it allows you to adjust angle and height up, down, left and right. That way you can put the shifter in the position that feels best for you.

I heard that the Cs is really good shifter. How much did you pick it up for and where did you get it at?

don't get a damn short shifter, they mess up your tranny. If you want to buy something that will cause you to make repairs later then go for it. SS are one of the biggest wastes of cash I have ever seen.

Note: you have to use the ITR shift linkage with this shifter, costs about $40.
No problems whatsoever, no crunching synchros, NOTHING. With regard to short shifters in Japan, C's is the dominant brand (for good reason). Not trying to brag, just stating the facts.
You should ask the people in the ITR forum; some people in there use the C's too.
