Default d16y8, blew my heads

i have a d16y8 pushing a greddy turbo kit all fixed but my bottom end is stock and my heads are stock, im pushing 8 pounds, i would like to push more but my head gasket blew, i also have a 40 shot nitro. please help me!!!

You have one head. And run a thicker headgasket or turn down the boost.

I would recommend either getting arias pistons, or machining the head and getting it ringed to handle the boost. Hell, or both. It all depends on how much you want to spend. Personally I would say sell the nitros kit, use the money to port and polish the head, and then just run the turbo. A lot less strain on the engine.

yea i second that- and this would be a good time to get a thicker headgasket too so your compression goes down a bit to decrease strain and detonation risks, and also allow u to run more boost if you wish to in the future
