D16y8 head shaved

hi i have a d16y8 head im planning to get shaved but some people tell me to shave it at 40 and some say at 35 this is my daily car and i dont want it to overheat

Shaving your head isn't going to cause your car to overheat...
A headgasket that isn't sealed will along with a head surface that isn't level.
