LOL - I don't mean to laugh, but Bridgestone makes the Potenzas.
So which exactly do you have on the front of your S2000?
IMO, stick with the stock tire choice and size if you have no modifications: Bridgestone Potenza S02s.
FYI, they are OEM for many other HP cars ie, Porsche 911 Turbo, Ferrari Modena, etc.

go to http://www.tirerack.com and get the bridgestone potenza s02 specifically desgined for the s2000
bridgestone potenza s03 tyres
, about 150 american each. The tyres grip very nicely-theyre not that bad in the rain either-i would never drive on them in the snow.

I suggest that you go to http://www.s2ki.com and read up on tires there. They also have regional forum for the UK. A lot of the other Brits there will be able to point you to good buys in the UK.
The OEM Bridgestone Potenza S02 is a special size ONLY for the S2000. The Porsches size is not for the S2000.
The Bridgestone Potenza S03 or the old Pole Position need to be selected in larger widths than the OEM specification for the S02 because the OEM S02 has a greater contact patch than the size would normally indicate.
I run Khumo Ecsta at 225/50/16 on the front and 245/45/16 on the rear because I have a large Mugen front sway bar. With the OEM front sway I'd run 205/55/16 on the front.
For the track tires I run Toyo RA-1 at 225/50/16 front and 245/45/16 rear.
Good luck.

These are decent tires yes, but don't hold a candle when it comes to the pure dry grip that comes from the S02's. Trust me, get the S02's and you will NOT be disappointed.
