if your gonna spend the money to do that then get the 1mm over. but anyone will tell you when under boost, you have a greater chance of your valve going through your valve seat.

its a lot of work to do right, I would suggest new valve seat , guides and seals, then the big problem is usually valve installed height! do the supertech's have the 3 angle already cut into the back of them?

new valve seats are a handful under boost. when i got my p&p i went with .5mm over but only because the guy made me a deal to do the machine work for the valves for a very good price and im staying with .5mm over.

I'm also running 0.5mm oversized valves, mainly because Ferrea sent me the oversized vavles instead of the oem spec size. I did not realize it until they were sent across the country with the cylinder head.
No problems, my cyl head porter commented that the "mistake" would complement the cyl head work I was getting done anyways.

I don't think oem size would have been much different though.

Well in a book I read it put it this way. It said to think of the valve as a door on a windy day. When you open the door that is your "lift" and the longer you keep the door open that is your duration. Now if you have a valve that is "x"mm do you think .5mm is really gonna be that much more beneficial? Answer that and you got your answer. Just a thought.

My personal opinion is that on most honda heads, bigger cams are more beneficial.
