i just installed my boost guage (and yes it is a vacuum/boost guage and not boost only guage) but why does it only read boost? I tee'd off from the hose that runs from the wastegate to the turbo and checked the lines over again and everything seems alright. Any help would be appreciated. BTW it's a DRAG gen 4 kit.

 

Did you T off it past a boost controller?

You connected it wrong.
You need to connect it to vacuum source - example line that goes to FPR, or to brake assist (think it's called like that) - anyway, source has to be from intake manifold.

 

connect to the one that is a little hose on you intatke mani and goes to the fuel rail thats the best one
