whats the easiest way to take the door panel speakers off? do i need to take the whole panel off first? if so, then what's the easiest way to do that?

Just pop the grill off and you'll see the screws that need to be taken out

 

4th Gens dont have removable grills

yeah that sucks..you have to take off the door panal, not fun, i broke 2 clips the first time i did it, make sure you dont just pull....

 

it's easy to take the door panel off, three screws around the door panel,
one in the door cup, and one in the door handle bezel, then pull at the
bottom and th clips should come loose. be careful working it around the
door handle bezels because the will brake pretty easily

 

i was just an idiot the first time i did it...i rushed and thats how things get broken, i wasnt sure how the panel was being held on...
