Block???
I have a 99 si with the greddy turbo kit. Last summer i had water in my oil and oil in my water about 600 miles after installing the turbo. It was the head gasket, I think the boost had a part in it. So i was going to just going to put a better head gasket and thats all. But now i decided to change the pistons and rods. Its like a snowball roling down a hill it just gets bigger and bigger. Now its the block! I dont know which way to go just get my B16 sleeved by AEBS or pick up a B18,LS sleeve one of them or just go all out with the dart block. What way should i go? I want to know the pros and cons. Keep in mind i want the motor to be boompoof.
Welcome to Honda-Tech. Contact earl, he can get you a good deal on Benson sleeved blocks (pretty much the best you can get) and even completely assembled short blocks. He quoted me something like $3200 to sleeve my block and fully build it for a high boost application.
