Thought you Lude owners would like to see this...

This would help get some of that weight off the nose.

The install is in my ITR, but I'm ordering another one for my Lude as well. pics w/that install to come.

Thanks I just emailed them. I've relocated my battery but am still using the stock 35 pound battery, this should further help the handling of the car.

Wonder if that lil thing can handle my sound system?!? I was looking into a small battery like this one but I have a sound system in my car and I'm afraid it might fry that lil thing.

I've been using one in my prelude for a while and it works great.....it'll drain after the car's been sitting for a while, but I just throw a charger on it and it's good as new......

That's what I'll be doing. Using it exclusively for auto-x and racing stuff, and throw and charger on it when I put the stock battery back in and take the Hawker out.

Have had it for 2 years, always started the car, unless it was my fault and drained it down..

I've had mine for a couple of weeks now with no problem. The Lude sat for about 4 days and took a couple extra cranks to get started but thats it. I've also got a small system on it.

I have had a Dyna batt (hawker) on my car for quite some time now. I don't recomend the battery at all for a street car since the capacity is very low. Sure it is good at cranking the car, but over time the battery voltage will drop to almost 10v. I experienced a loss of voltage on the dyno whereas my battery voltage droppd significantly in the upper RPM's. At first I suspected the altenator, but the altenator was running near full field trying to keep the battery charged. I have changed back to a small optima battery for the street, as far as the Hawker, I would only recomend it for a car that has very little electronics on it, such as a drag car. Even a cooling fan will tax the hawker.

I've had for 2 years or more now. I would be careful though if you plan to use it in a cold environment. My car is winter stored and the Hawker stays warm over the winter.
