how do you plan on stroking the motor. i like the idea of water injection , so old school. but what are you plans for compression ratio? are you sleving or what?

Im already sleeved.. I have to get lower CR pistons.. I think it would be safer to run 9lb pulley and go with water injection.

if your already sleved, then thats good. the price of going with a JRSC with water in jection vs a good turbo kit is pretty close. i mean in the long run its up to you. but i think 9:1 cr would be good.

agian how were you going to stroke it?

tell me why you want to go supercharged vs turbo? you will have to search around for a stroker kit. but then you will have a lower redline. if you are sleved you could always bore out more and acheive the larger displacement that way

Well Im an SS lude.. My friend is rebuilding the tranny right now.. I got hold of a toque converter that is 800 rpm higher than stock.. Level 10 is few hundred RPM higher.. I just want the instant torque and boost.. Im not looking to be the fastest and also my car is daily driven.. 70 miles one way to work. So I am looking at the reliability issue here.. Hmm that sound like a good idea about boring it out more. But wont this cause overheating issues?

Just remember, the more you bore it out,
the less room you have for error with your
block if you fry your pistons or anything.

most companies say 89mm is max bore for a boosted h-series. What compression pistons do u have now? And what brand? What compression do u plan on going with? What's the highest octane gas u have available? Is there any way of cooling the air forced in the engine? If not it would be safer for turbo.
