it will bolt right in, but u will have some wiring issues since the z6 is obd1 and your hatch is obd2. if u do a search i'm sure u can find more detailed info on what need to be done.

if you want to do a single cam vtec it would probly be cheaper to get a d16y8 head (96-00 EX). but if you want to do the z6 then you would need a p28 ecu along with the obd1 conversion harness

you should just buy a complete z6 or y8 head w/ ecu, and make a mini-me. ask bauley about it, his mini-me is great

the Z6 does not drop right on you will have to transfer all your mounts from your old motor to the Z6 and then it will drop in. wiring is a different issue

Yeah wiring would be a bitch. I'm assuming he could just run an entire Z6 engine harness with a P28

That sounds like you have had some good runs on the D16Z6s. Have you gone against D16Z6s with the Y8 intake manifold on them? I heard that the Y8 manifold makes good gains on a Z6.

wow, why dont you do a b16a or b18c instead of doing a d16y8?? My girls civic is slow as hell with her d16y8. My GSR kicks her *** all day long. We'll be doin a b18c in her civic in a month or so. Anyone want to buy a complete d16y8 engine/5 speed tranny with 88k on it, brand new h2o pump and t belt?? lemme know.

the EG civics with Z6shave the two piece engine harness(with the connector at the shock tower).this harness won't work in the EK which have the one piece engine harnesses.best option i can think is to use the stock EK(or EK EX)harness and a jumper harness with a P28.
