Default ROM chip + static electricity = Aww crap... :(

Damn the luck...

Today I installed my 460cc injectors (write up also in this forum). I started the car and everything was going well.

About 2 hrs later I wanted to change the FTL settings I had on my chip. My car is parked in my garage so I pulled the Chip out of my ECU with my left hand, as I closed my car door with my right hand I got a little shock from the door.

Well I tried to write to that chip and I get an error now.

Needless to say I only had 1 chip. Gonna have to borrow my wifes car until my order comes in for more.

Damn...

Ok, what the hell?!?

After dropping some $$$ on new chips (extras this time), I plugged up that bad chip and it worked fine. My Willems burner is a picky biatch.

Well I've got some extra chips to sell off now. lol
