Default What distributor for b16sir2 into 98 civic ex?

I have a 98 civic ex with a obdII to obdI conversion. I had an obdI ls motor and now have an obdI b16. The plug for the b16 distributor is different than the engine harness so what distributor do I need to use? ls, ex, or is there a way to modify the plug to work with the b16 distributor? Also, will the ls or ex distributor throw the timing or revs off?? Thanks in advance.

I imagine you have an OBD1 distributor and the plug from your EX harness will not match since it's OBD2? You can simply change the plug on distributor to an OBD2 plug or change the engine harness side to OBD1 plugs so that it matches up.

That is what I am asking, where can I find a diagram of the wires to see how to match em up. Also, will the ls or ex distributor work? The ls one should if I cut an ear off right?

The LS will work, the EX will not.

Correct, the leg closest to the Vtec solenoid. It will only be held on by the top bolt and most of them leak oil cause they do not sit right.

Here you go.
