Default b series headers ?

Do all b series headers work on any block(b16,b18a/b,b18c,b20)? If not what are the differences. I'm thinking of picking up an LS motor and need to know if only certain headers will fit it. Thanks.

Can't remember which blocks they are...but I think it's the GSRs...they're 7mm taller so I don't knwo if all of the headers would fit.

They will all bolt up but like someone said, the b18 header is taller so if bolted to a b16 it will be lower and possibly scrape on more stuff.

Seek167, thats interesting. I was told that the b16 header wouldn't fit a b18 but obviously it does. Does it hug the oil pan real tight or anything? This is good info to know.

youll might have clearance issues using a b16 header on a b18 depending on brand.

I have a GSR DC Sports header on my B20/GSR motor....clearance is fine.....from header to the oil pan. From the header to the ground is another story....its like 2in.

Use the b16 header. That's the one my brother has on his ls and it works good. good fit and good clearance.
