quick question on b series header
hey i have a 94 hatch with a 95 LS motor and is about to buy a DC 4-1 header off this guy but he has it on his b16. From what i've heard all b-series header should fit right? any info to back me up on this cuz im getting it on friday. Thanks.
Not all b16 headers fit all b series motor? I bought a header made for a b16 thinking it should fit my car and it didn't header was hiting the oil pan.....
if u got a LS/GSR motor..get any b-series header other than the b16(you will have oil pan clearance issues)
quick info: 94up LS/Type R and 00-01 GSR headers are the same length wise reaching your cat/exhaust piping....only 94-99 GSR are the shorters ones...
say you currently have a stock LS exhaust manifold on your eg exhaust....you buy the LS/TYPE R or 00-01 GSR application headers...will fit soundly
You buy a DC header for the 94-99 GSR application, you'll be visiting your local muffler shop...best thing is you'll drive open header.
94-99 GSR

98up Type R <----from experiences, type r are about 1.5 inches longer than LS
