Rear end sways after rear disc conversion....
I just did a rear disc conversion on my 95 dx hatch and when I'm driving down the road the rear end sometimes sways. The other day it started to do it when it was raining and I almost did a 360. I'm not positive that the disc conversion is causing it. It could be the brakes locking up but I can hear them make contact and let off when braking so I dont think they're to blame. Anyone have any idea what could be causing this????
i would think your toe is out of whack, after i did my conversion, i had to adjut my camber and toe, this would explain the loose feeling in the rear
1) Did you torque everything down to spec? After doing my rear disc conversion, I kept hearing a clunking noise on right turns. The bolt that connects the trailing arm to the upper control arm had backed out... Good thing I found it.
2) Did you get an alignment? Your toe may be way off. toe-out on the rear is a VERY bad thing.
3) Did you use the right lcas in the rear? You should keep the ones that come with your car.

get an alignment-no way you even got it close by eyeballing it.don't put it off-you'll either end up in a ditch,or with worn out rear tires if you make it that long.
