Default Need Help:Looking to get a '95 GSR(did search)

Ok...I am "new" to this site so keep the "go search noob" to yourself. I found a '95 Gsr w/150k miles and its going for 4g's. Ok....That is definetely how much I have and I cant save for something better. Anyway...I need to know what is the compression on the cylinders supposed to read? I'm gonna take a compression kit over to do it myself and I need to know the specs. Also, the dude is running an open header so its throwing a code. What I wanna know, is the code because of that? Any help will be much appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Not sure about the compression.

As far as the code goes: Probably. In '95 the High-temp O2 sensor was in the cat before the actual catalysts. If he's running open headers chances are pretty good that there is no sensor there anymore and it's throwing a code (and running rich, and a couple other things). I'd still run the code though just to be sure that nothing else is wrong.

Image from the helms manuel >>>It says right under the hood on the sticker what the compression should be . There is an article on http://www.team-integra.net that tells all about it .

Nominal is 270
Minimal is 135 with a variance of no more than 28 per cylinder

Ok...this is good info. Have any of you done a compression check yourselves? I'm gonna attempt to do it by the instruction of my mechanic (who cant go). Thanks! I was planning on doing a rebuild on the head anyway though.
