Default Simple question... 2000 CTR ECU plug up to a 2000 Civic Si harness?

Just like the title states, I know the 96-99 don't work, but does the 2000 work without any modification?

From my understanding there is no obd2b in Japan therefore it will not plug and play with a 99-00 si or a 00-01 itr. I have not seen this in person but I have a reliable source. You will have to get a obd2b to obd2a conversion harness.

98 CTR's are OBD2a

99-00 CTR's are OBD2b. Had one it worked.

I used a Kenji P28 & harness now.

99-00 are the same obd2b the ecu will fit, I put the 99ctr swap into my 00 civic and the ecu fit perfect

OBD2a used ECU connectors A,C,D.

OBD2b used ECU connectors A,B,C.

However, and I've asked before with no response, but what about the 99-00 Civics that came equipped with the D16Y5? In my Helms, it shows that ALL D16Y5's (with manual tranny at least), from 96-00 used the OBD2a ECU connector implementation.

Is my Helms wrong or are people just blindly accepting that all 99-00's are the same, wiring wise?
