I see nobody understands what you are really asking. You can get an aftermarket header (if you are in california, you need one with a CARB no., such as DC sports) then you can get a catalytic converter welded in downstream. You can find a D series header for around 150-200 dollars, and a universal catalytic converter should set you back another hundred or so. I would suggest getting an EX cat though. Only problem, is you are going to have to hack up your stock exhaust if you don't have an aftermarket one with a 2 peice B pipe.
damn $500 for a cat??
Man your in Irving.. if you wanted something like tomorrow, i'd say goto Honda Heaven and snag one off their cars'
a muffler shop is sure to have one thats not so freakin steep' ugh
damn texas emissions... i know how ya feel'

First, I reccomend you read what I wrote. You have an integrated exhaust manifold/catalytic converter. To all of you guys saying grab a high flow cat TAKE A LOOK AT THE DAMNED LINK!!! You need an EX exhaust manifold or an aftermarket header unless you want to plug up the old 02 sensor holes with a bolt or something (which I don't really think will pass inspection).

i bought my used lx/dx header/cat online for $25. do a search on honda-tech or thepartstrader... you just need to pass for now... you might not want to go thru the hastle of chopping up your exhaust yet... you may end up digging deeper into your pockets then you need...

This is one of the only other reasonable responses I've seen in this thread. Check the classifieds for a stcok exhaust manifold. I would loan you mine if you were close.
