Default Which one? Garrett GT35R or GT37

According to my signature, which turbo should I go with? It'll be a street/strip car. I'll have 2 boost settings 10-15 psi for street 20+ for strip. I want 500-600 hp.

The GT35R is full ball bearing. On the compressor side I'm opting for T04S compressor housing with a wheel diameter 76mm, trim 52, A/R - .5 @ 53 lb/min. On the turbine side , T3 housing, I'm deciding between A/Rs of 1.18 - 30 lb/min, 1.05 @ 30 lb/min, .94 @ approx. 26-27 lb/min, and .67 @ 20-25 lbs/min. Supports 510 hp. This thing should spool up very early with high velocity.

The GT37 is non ball bearing. On the compressor side thier's a choice between 76mm diam. wheel, Trim 52, A/R .58 or 82mm diam. wheel, Trim 52, A/R .52.
Turbine side I'm opting for 72.5 wheel diam., Trim 84, A/R 1.12.

With those specs, will the GT37 have too much lag and hard to stay in boost when shifting? Is the turbine 1.12 A/R with a 72.5 wheel diam. too big? This one supports up to 550hp according to the Garret catalog.

GT37 with the big wheel if you want to be a star at the strip. It has a divided housing which will help the low end a bit and the large A/R on the exhaust compensates for any restrictions the divided housing may cause in the top of the rpm range.

Spec correction for GT35R - Compressor side 82mm w. diam., 56 trim, A/R .70 (which is the T04S housing), Turbine side 68mm w, diam., 84 Trim, .82 or 1.06 A/R. This actually supports 600hp. I was looking at last year's catalog. I'm leaning towards this one.

The GT35R is actually bigger then the GT37. The GT37 has a 76mm wheel and the GT35R has a 82mm wheel. Go w/ the GT35R if u want 600whp.

You can get the GT37 with an 82mm compressor wheel. I did.

Here are the #'s from Precision's page-

HP Inducer Trim A/R Center Section Turbine Trim A/R
680 GT-35R 82mm 56 0.70 Ball Bearing 68mm 84 0.82, 1.06
700 GT-37 76mm, 82mm 52 0.54, 0.70 Standard 72.5mm 84 1.12

The GT37 is about $500 cheaper to boot.

Thanks for your replies. I'm getting the GT35R tommorrow. I just have to make a new downpipe. I had the Drag 5 bolt 2.5" and this one comes with the 4 bolt pattern. I'm going 3". There's a discrepency between hp ratings from the Precision site and the Garrett catalog. I'm just going by the Garrett compressor maps. Maybe because of custom porting that Precision does to thier housings?
