Default overheating problems..

a couple days ago the car started over heating a lil. It had done it before, I changed the water pump, went away. I recently installed my turbo, and like 3 days ago, it started over heating agen. I drive it for about 10 minutes, and everything is normal temperature wise. then all of a sudden, it'll climb all the way up to hot. I changed the thermostat and temp sender, and it still does it. that leads me to believe the guage is fucked up or something. anyone have any suggestions?

I installed an autometer mechanical temp guage, the guage reads from 140 degrees to 240 degress...its a mechanical guage, im pretty shure i cant **** up the installation of that, but i took the car for a drive, and the autometer guage didnt move from its lowest reading(140), but the stock guage did the same as before, it went all the way up hot. anyone have any sugguestions?

It could be anything but; you already changed two things. It might even be your fmic dont let your radiator breathe. When my car was over heating it was the headgasket. Check that and see if thats it.

If it was the head gasket or something of that nature, wouldnt it throw out whiteish smoke? wouldnt I be able to see coolant in the oil, or oil in the coolant?

Did you purge all air from the cooling system?
