I have a civic type r motor its bone stock and I been wanting to put a turbo for a long time. I know it has high compression. But my goal is just to boost about 7psi or normal amount of boost for a stock motor . My car is mainly a show car and I am not really wanting to have a car that will run 11's just probably 13's I ll be okay. I am planning to put an f-max turbo kit. I was told that all I need is a head gasket to lower my compression and I will be okay with my motor. I need advice because I spent a lot of money on this motor and dont want to blow it up. I dont really want to change the internals. Just want to know if anybody can give me some advice on what to do with going turbo on my motor. thanks

you seem to know what you want one thing you want to run 13s than i would not go with th fmax kit ,why a few of my friends have it and they say that the boost flatens out because of the turbo t3t4b you want a t3t4e like DRAG OR REV HARD THAN YOU WILL MAKE THE POWER THAT YOU NEED AT HIGH RPM OK
