Default Is this normal or bad for a legend?

Today i was cleaning my moms engine bay in her 92 legend 3.2L (with ABS) and i looked at her air filter and the rubber piping for the intake was like kinda caked in dirt and oil and has a whole lot of oil in it and then i took off the tubing and the throttle body was caked in oil and dirt as well. I cleaned it all out. I know the breather part on the engine connects to the intake but i wouldnt think that much oil would be in there. IS this normal to have a lot of oil in the tubing? The car has 201K on it.

have your compression checked, because she might have a blown head gasket.

I doubt it's a blown hg. Technically speaking air is being sucked into the intake, not blow out. Ur engine is leaking oil somewhere in the engine bay. It's probaly not a hg problem. More like a seal around the air filter or ur legend is sucking up a lot of grim from the road. Check for holes in the filter and the filter box/tubing.

If not take it to the dealership and ask for a free inspection. Don't have them fix anything or they will rape u on charges.

the only way to get oil out of the oil lines, or the crank case is to have a blown headgasket (oil will get all over the inside of the engine, radiator, intake) or to have piston ring problems, which you would notice...

you should not have any oil anywhere, besides the crankcase....

there is a good chance it is a HG problem.

but I would take it to the dealer to have it compression checked.
