Default oil in my intake...problem?

i put a ccold air intake in my car a few months ago, i went to clean the filter and found that the oil that you cover the filter with had been sucked up into the intake pipe!(not a whole lot, but it was filmed inside of the intake, all over the walls of the tube) you know the red oil in the k&n filter rechrge kit... can this adversly affect my intake manifold or any sensors in the path of the incoming air, or will it just slide along into the combustion chamber? anyone know anything at all? or how and what to clean if it is gonna affect any sensors?
post back at me, plz!

the oil in ure intake is caused by blowby coming from ure pcv(the hose connected to ure valve cover to ure intake). u can get a catch can system to filter out the oil.

the way u described the amount of oil, u should do a compression test to see if ure motor is ok. this happend to me when i cracked a ringland. i was turbo'd though.

A catch-can would only help if the oil is coming from the crankcase breather. If it's coming from the filter, then don't worry about that. A compression test will see if your rings or valves are OK, but that's not related to filter oil.
