i just bought a del sol and the guy before me put a 1993 gsr tranny on the b16 motor. i want to buy a short shifter for it. but i have no idea what application i would need.

p.s. new to the honda scene, cause i was into the nissans. hahaha

 

they're all the same... all integra one's are the same as the 92-95 civics/del sol's...

Most will tell you to just get a stock integra shifter they "dual bend" shifter...

I like my b&m but it sits too far forward for my taste... I'd prefer a short shifter with dual bends like the stock teg one...

Also for all those who'll chime in with "they break"... You shift too hard... you're lucky the shifter broke cuz shifting that hard will break your shift fork.

I say go cheap as possible... and shift intelligently... SS's are a FEEL ONLY item... they make the spaces between shifts shorter... they DO NOT "shorten" the time it takes the transmission to shift... I can shift a shifter too fast for the synchro's... It only gets easier to do with a short shifter.

Ive got a dual bend short shifter for sale. Its off my friends integra. will fit your application perfectly. let me know if you ae interested in it. will let go for cheap. thanks!

 

id sell the GSR tranny and get a b16 tranny or better yet a type r.
