Default MaxRev manifold with Tial wastegate.

Well Im about to put my turbo kit in tommorow and I have the MaxRev mani with Tial 35mm. I have a 2000 civic SI. I just starting thinking something. What im wondering is the Tial wastegate gonna hit the hood? I did a search and couldnt find anything. Thanks for any help guys!!!

Mine either. Worked just fine even with the fittings on the top of the wastegate.

It won't hit the hood if you aren't using the top port of the wastegate (electronic Boost Controller).

Otherwise it will. You can cut the hood out for clearance no problem.

normal driving, it shouldn't hit the hood, but if you're launching hard the engine movement may make the WG hit the roof... what you could do is put some clay on top of your WG and close the hood.. that way u can see how much clearance you have, and where the WG would hit the hood if it did... I had to notch out the webbing on my hood to help it clear when I launch... Man I hate it when the engine or WG puts dents in my hood, its so Ugly..

Well I put it in today and I had plenty of room. What a relief. Turbo install almost done. This **** takes alot longer than I thought it would. Or Im just a slow worker. Thanks for the feedback guys.
