Default Headlight / Hood difference from 1997 Civic Hatchback to 2000 Civic Coupe

I am just curious if the parts are interchangeable...I'd like to buy some stuff from a fellow HT'r but he'd need my lights and of course I'd want to know if there are any subtle differences in the hood which would make it not fit...

I checked online and the part numbers are different for the hoods but they just change the year of the car in the part number...looks like all the same stuff to me. Headlights I'm totally unsure of...

If you want to put the '97 stuff on the '00 you need '96-97 fenders, hood, and lights as well as the bumper cover. Otherwise it will not fit. Same thing goes for the other direction. Next time search, this is covered hourly in the EG+ forum.

Hood
Fenders
Grill
Headlights
Bumper

And if you are swapping the 99-00 grill needs to be cut and the radiator support needs to be bent.
