was the resevior empty? could be a leak, such as the clutch master or slave cylinder. my slave cylinder went out the other day with 95,000 miles. easy to change if that's the problem

yeah the slave was empty and im pretty sure thats what it is, there was no black **** around the clutch pedal so im confident its not the master. I think we are gonna go get a slave and replace it and see it that works.

check for leaks. if the slave is bad, you should see fluid everywhere. Open the rubber boot around the fork so you can see if it leaked into there.

What slave are you talking about? The slave is the little thing that pushes the fork on the tranny. it sounds like you are thinking of the reservoir where you put the clutch fluid when you are talking about the slave.

If you were really tallking about the same slave sylinder that I am talking about, how did you find out that it was empty? i saw the leak on mine, that is why i knew it was the slave cylinder
