Catz hid owners..
do your kits seem to warm up extremely quick compared to other aftermarket and oem kits?
i have the 5700k kit and it seems to warm in like 3-5 secs where other oem systems take good 10-12, is it damaging the system?

I haven't heard of any recalls regarding Catz HID systems. I think you may be confused with the new ban on selling HID kits. IIRC, none of the aftermarket HID kits were never legal for street use in the first place.

i went down to a local shop and i was asking about hid kits, he mention that they were illegal to sell now and he showed me a paper that catz had faxed them to hang up. it had on it if you wanted to return the hid system they would issue a 100% refund because it did not meet department of transpertation laws. Thats what the paper said. i sure if you wanted to know for sure you could call them and find out.

I believe this only effects US customers. For example, a Canadian seller of HID kits is not allowed to sell their kits to a US resident, but should be allowed to sell to someone living in Canada.
