vtec not engaging?
I did my mini me, and i hooked the vtec solenoid up to 12v power, and i can hear it clicking on and off..but i feel no difference whatsoever in power at all. Any ideas?
oil is full...so how can i not have good oil pressure...its still not working.
I took the oil jet out, was there supposed to be one in the head right above where that jet in the block is? becuz the whole in the head was straight through.

What ecu are you using to run the motor? Maybe you aren't getting enough fuel at VTEC engagement. Another idea is to check the solenoid filter. Sometimes the screen on the filter gets so dirty that oil can't pass thru it at a sufficient rate. I've seen this happen on a few occasions.

nope, PM6 = d16a6 ecu (88-91 civic/crx si)

when i had vtec hooked up to a switch with a pm6 i didnt feel any power either. when i converted it to obd1 and used a p28 i can feel and hear vtec. it has to do with the fuel curve and ignition advance as much as it does with the cam.

yes. if you have vtec activation, but no change in timing or fuel, NOTHING will happen. the pm6 is using stock timing and fuel all the way through your rpms and not changing when in vtec. get a new ecu.
