Final Drive with Supercharger?
I did a search and only one topic was brought up. Just curious on if anyone has tried this or if it would be worth it?
Would it be easier just to trade out for the stock gearing then go boost?
Not tryign to go turbo more than likely going with a jackson unless I can see why not to.... Thanks in advance.

What fd? is it in an ITR? what do you use the car for?
You need to give us more information.
I think you should research more on jackson racing superchargers. They are over-priced and under powered.
Your definetly going to have traction problems.

I have the ATS FD, and a turbo running 7lbs (180 tq @ 5500 rpms).
Grip is nonexistant in 1st and 2nd, sometimes breaks loose in 3rd. Throttle modulation is key.

get turbo setup.. easy to make hp, from 200-300whp, no need for final drives or gear changes - just more money to spend and parts to worry about.. turbo setup alone will cost some good $$$$.

Listen man, I drove a guys GSR that had the stock ECU & just minor bolt-ons with 18" tires. Even with the stock tranny it would break the tires loose @ will in first gear & sometimes in second. KEEP THE STOCK GEARING!!! Just get an LSD & an ACT street/strip clutch with a lightened flywheel.
