Default How To Install Remote For MultiAmp Setup

Will be my first system install coming up this week. Have everything else worked and figured out for my 2 amp setup.

Only thing I am unsure of is how to run/wire a remote?

The remote is what turns the amps on and off right?

The (green) wire that was included in my amp kit goes directed from my amp and I splice it into what wire in the back of my deck?

Does it matter that I am going to be splicing 2 remotes into the same wire into the back of my deck? Should I connect the two remote wires from my amp at the same point in the wire on the back of the headunit so all 3 are kind of touching or different parts?

if you have an aftermarket deck, the remote wire is usually blue sometimes with a white stripe. run one wire from the deck, back to where the amps are then you can split it. its alright to split the remote wire because it just sends a signal to turn on the amp. you wont sacrifice any power or anything.

Check your headunit instructions for details on how many amps you can run off the remote wire. My sony deck is supposed to only have one at a time but the remote can run three no problem.
If you run into problems with the headunit not having enough power to turn them on then use a relay.
It's safe to join the three wires at the same place but make sure no wire is exposed.
