Where can I get a new T3 compressor inlet flange that looks like this?
The one that was sent with the turbo looks like a POS, looks as if its been copied (cast). I'd like to buy something that is quality - plus I think I need a gasket and bolts as well....Anyone?
Looks like that is the inlet from a T3... I just got an "inlet bell" from http://www.jaysgn.com
Costed me like $60 but it was worth it. It opens up to about 3" which is perfect for the K&N filters...

that's an inlet flange off of a ford T3 turbocharger...
you can tell by...the ford part number on it...haha
it's from an 85 svo mustang literally.
E5=1985 ZE=mustang the rest are the catagory numbers, etc.
that's actually a really nice piece. It's the big bore inlet pipe for the svo mustangs versus the smaller bore ones from the turbocoupes/merkurs...
you should be able to get $30-50 for it by itself off ebay if you decide not to keep it.

Did they actually look like that from the factory? If you look closely at hte bead it looks all f$cked up. Plus the flange surface isn't machined. I'm really not impressed if this is an original, which is why I was looking for a replacement...
Screw you guys, I'm... going... home.

It looks to me like a junkyard part that someone has sandblasted or beadblasted to clean it up. That would explain why the flange doesn't have the machining marks anymore and why the bead looks old and corroded. Just clean up the rough edge a little bit with a file and use it. It'll hold the hose on and seal fine.
