i have a SX fuel pump been working on Gas for close tro 3 years now no problem. however ive heard romurs that you can not run meth through it is this true?

 

Since it is 3 years old, you need to send it back to SX for some updated o-rings and other minor change. If you run alky thru it as is, your seals will be leaking and fail within a few hours and the pump could short out internally.
I believe their new pumps come ready for alky, not sure on that.

we also had the internal magnets re-glued...so meth would not eat it up

the only way meth I have seen blow a motor is that meth attracts alot of watter and inturn you can hydrolock a motor, but other then that you can make way more hp sorry I just thought I would throw in my 2 cents in.

Best thing to do is call s/x or contact a s/x dealer.
