i have one on my b20. i would prefer a b16/type r second would be gsr and thrid would be what i run now, b16 with jdm final

basically with a rev limmit of 7k my tranny is too short, but 8k or higher its perfect

does your car (feel) torquey because of the quicker gears? more so than with a ls tranny with no lsd

hard to tell for sure cause i went from a b18b with ls tranny to a b20b with an R and now a b20z with an R

i would say the tranny will make a significant difference though

thats a pretty tough question to answer. bottom line get an 8k rev limmit with cams that make power there and a itr or better tranny and you will see huge gains
