___Replacing Integra Dash... Hints? Suggestions? Help me make this easy! Swap___
After finding a great deal on a CHERRY dash I'm going to be replacing mine some time this week and was hoping some people here could give me hints or suggestions to make this as effortless as possible. Any hidden bolts i need to know about? Clips that tend to be a PITA? etc...
Thanks a lot guys/girls..

I pulle d my dash out of my old 95 RS integra to spray it and put it back in, I just remember looking for as many bolts as I could find as I pulled it out.
There were bolts behind the clock and behind the vents in the middle(some hard to see black screws down in the vents) and maybe the side vents too... I dont really remember.
Alot of 10/12mm bolts and a few screws, on the sides between the dash and the door panel was some bolts behind the pop-out panels.
Of course the center console and the radio gotta go too to pul the mid section of the dash off the console.
Took the steering wheel off when I did it too, Disconnect your battery so you dont jak up the airbags while pulling out the plugs. Youll have to unbolt the airbag assembly from the interior dash frame metal bar under the glove box.
Oh yeah, and try not to tweak around your blinker/wiper control sticks because I damaged mine and the wipers were all wacked out after.
For me it was a bit of a pain in the ***, trying not to scratch it and all. Hope that helps a little.

yeah thanks man... just looking for some bit of advise and that's enough to get me started at least. i'm not car-retarded, but i spend most of my time under the hood or wiring stuff and i'd rather not spend 5 hours trying to hunt for nuts and bolts to get the dash out. the car has no interior right now so this should be relatively simple. i hope. anyway, thanks a lot.

yeah, pull the front seats out so you can liedown on your back for hourspulling plugs and harnesses apart.
take you steering wheel and cluster out first, then glove box and use those spaces to disconnect everything behind there.

wow, that was fun
thanks for the help guys... not bad getting it out... it's putting it back in and gettin all the harnesses secured that's a PITA. oh well, it'a nice now. took about 30 mins to get it out. took about 2 hours to put the new one in.... took a while cause i had to resolder all my aftermarket gauge wires and stereo harness (whoops, i cut it), zip tie all the wires up so they didn't rattle around, and try to figure out which extra plugs weren't supposed to be extra...

it probably would have been easier to just swap dash harnesses over, then you would not have to re-wire anything
