Default what sleeves to use...hmm

im getting my c1 block Monday and im going to have new sleeves put in it. The only problem is im not sure what sleeves i should get. i think OEM should be fine since im only going to be running like 10.7 cr. But I might go higher depending on what pistons are available and if i can ever make up my mind. Another thing i need help with is i might run a b16 head on it or should i keep looking and try to find a gsr? I know combustion chamber is a little bit bigger on the b16 but not sure what to do? Thanks for all of your help guys

are you planning to go bigger bore? or turbo later on?

Check out the sleeving service we provide.

You're definately fine at 10.70:1 on stock sleeves but as exospeedAMcrx said, if you want to go with a bigger bore or are planning on FI later on down the road you may want to consider sleeving... This is my order, company wise... #1 = AEBS, #2 = RS, and #3 = Golden Eagle Mfg... As for cylinder heads it's really a matter of preference... Typically we use the P72 (GSR) cylinder head with most of our motors whether they start as a straight B18C1 or not... All the flow charts I've seen have shown that the PR3 flows and makes more power midrange where as the P72 is a little better up top... Just my $0.02, Good Luck
