I just got a 98 jdm b18c swap into my 95 civic and the engine light is on. Hooked it up to the computer and it says its because of the o2sensor....So i have to get a new o2sensor and was wondering if i could use the o2 sensor from my old DX motor? If anyone knows anything about this please post! Thanks!

 

No. Your civic was obd1 correct? and the c1 is obd2

you COULD convert it...i guess...

Check wiring before you replace it, cuz that ****'s expensive.

 

They are both 4 wire arent' they?

As long as it's a 4 wire O2 sensor which it should be, you can reuse it no problem. The OBD of an O2 sensor doesn't matter, primary + secondary doesn't even matter (when talking about OBD2), as long as it's a 4 wire then you're good.
