if you want more engine noise then your exuast then get a drop in and dill a couple of huge holes in the airbox, if you want some sound and a whitleing sound get a CAI, theirs no difference, just sex appeal... GTG my Easy Mac is done

i run a cai during the spring and summer, and it is pretty loud! but i am not willing to run it during the winter season in seattle. to much rain to risk hydrolock even that foam thing to keep water out... water valve? (those are proven to fail)

Drop in's probably give you the same amount of power, yet less hassle from the law.

I have a short ram right now and think I am going to go back to the stock air box with a K&N drop in (already have one) But i am going to probably make something to go from the bottom of the stock air box out to the front so it will be a combination ram air/CAI with the stock air box.
