Do you guys have to adjust your cam timing to compensate for the thicker headgasket? Also, is there anything you guys have to worry about when installing a head while using a thicker headgasket, like torque specs or anything? I figure you guys would know because a lot of people in here would use thicker headgaskets to drop their CR's. Thanks.

Cam timing gets retarded with a thicker gasket. This can be accounted for with the gears, but amount depends on how much thicker the gasket is than stock. Torque specs on the head bolts should remain the same.

Does this mean that you would have to use the gears to advance it back to what it was previously at? How much advance if so +1, +2?
