Rough idle and IACV?
I've seen several posts about cleaning/replacing IACV to fix idle problems. When you guys say IACV, are you talking about the EACV (Electronic Air Control Valve)? I can't think of what else IACV would be.
Sorry if it was a stupid question...

IACV intake ait control valve . . . theya re 2 different things. The IACV is located on the back side of your intake manifold depending on what motor you have . . . it should have a little screen on it when you take it off, and if that is clogged it can cause your idle to do weird things . . . just blast it with some carb cleaner, and it should be fine.
If it's anything like the 1992, it's on the front of the intake manifold, looking into the engine bay. There's two large valves on the front, the Fast Idle Valve and the IACV. One of them has screws on the top of it, that's the FIV.
If you unbolt the IACV, you'll see the screen, it'll be fairly obvious.
