Check out the article on it in Honda Tuning, I think they spent around $300, but they had a lot of stuff laying around to begin with.

Check dsm boards and call up local junkyards. Try making this thread in the FI forum, you might get more responses.

Anyway, the kits i've seen made range from 260 bucks to 900 ( intercooled w/ engine management ). The 260 was from extremely lucky deals. The guy i talked with said he took 6 months gathering all the parts for it and never settled for a price that he didn't want to pay over...eh

i feel lucky. this week i pieced to gether a whole kit for $30 manifold for 10. a friend gave me a brand new garret td04 for free. i helped a friend install a fmic on his eclipse on sat, so i got $50 plus smic and bov. for all the piping we have extra stuff laying around cause we make our own headers for the race car. and i spent about 20 on couplings and clamps. and to top it all off i was given a y8 w 22k last week. i mustve done something good cause this stuff dosnt usually happen to me.

Aprox. $1200 is what I spent for mine. And not to brag or anything, but it is pretty damn nice. Brand new big FMIC, all steel braided lines with the correct fittings, 2.5" mandrel bent i/c pipes, 450 cc injectors, SAFC-II, guages etc., etc. Running 8 psi, and I think I got pretty good bang for buck ratio!
All that, and I still have got stock hubcaps!!! Function before form!

If I had another car I could turbo mine for about 100-200 bucks... I've got or can get 90% of the stuff for free or next to free... I just don't have the time or money for the "just in case"'s.

I've got piping, bov, fmic, turbo,... could get injectors for free... hf manifold for next to nothing. the only thing I'd really have to spend money on is fuel management... like a smc... but in the long run I'd rather save up for GOOD fuel management like hondata since I can get the rest for next to nothing...

I'm just too lazy and too much of a *****.
